Mayflies is Fully Funded—Thank You!

The Mayflies Kickstarter campaign has officially ended, and thanks to the incredible support of our backers, we raised 118% of our goal—fully funding the book’s production. After seven years of work, thousands of portraits, and countless moments of radical self-expression, Mayflies is now moving into its final stage: printing.

This book was always about more than photography. It’s a celebration of originality, of the artistry within us all, and of those fleeting yet powerful moments when people reveal their truest selves. With over 100 striking portraits, an essay by Justin Shaffer, and stories from 34 remarkable gatherings across the globe, Mayflies is now becoming a tangible reality—thanks to you.
