Photography is about the courage to see things differently.
I seek out people who dare to express themselves, and honour what makes us uniquely human.

I'm a portrait photographer based in Amsterdam. My work explores self-expression, identity, and the places where people allow themselves to be fully seen.
My interactive pop-up studio brings fine art and participatory storytelling together into a space where something unexpected almost always happens.
Photography, for me, is a search for originality in a world that increasingly rewards conformity. Through my work, I invite people to challenge assumptions, break free from expectations, and rediscover what makes us human.
Raised in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains, where self-expression often felt constrained. Even something as playful as Halloween was seen by some as dabbling in the occult. Tradition outweighed individuality. Standing out could mean standing alone.
That experience taught me the deep importance of finding communities where creativity isn’t stifled but celebrated. Places where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgment.
I left the United States to study at Edith Cowan University in Australia, where I realised photography was my gateway to connecting with people on a deeper level.
I didn't know it when this picture was taken, but it was the beginning of a life spent travelling the world with a camera.
After a decade in commercial photography, I felt something pulling me elsewhere... toward deeper connections, stranger encounters, more honest images.
I started travelling to festivals and gatherings around the world, setting up my studio wherever the energy felt right.
The more I travelled, the more I understood: identity isn't a fixed destination. It's an evolving journey. And the strangers who stepped in front of my camera taught me that more than anything.
Anyone who has ever felt the urge to create, challenge, or dream is honouring something essential in themselves. We make meaning together. Through chosen family, inherited tradition, or simply by following our own heart.
I create spaces for transformation. Whether on a city street, inside a gallery, or somewhere entirely unexpected, the studio becomes an invitation: step forward, reveal yourself, and be seen exactly as you are.
Each image is a moment of courage, when someone dares to be seen. My camera is a passport to people: unfiltered, unguarded, beautifully human.
I believe in the collaborative act of making a portrait. In that shared moment, something shifts. The photograph becomes less about documentation and more about recognition.
Each portrait reveals who someone is, who they've chosen to be, and what they're willing to show the world.
Photography is my way of saying: I see you. Your story matters.
